Does anyone care to recommend me a nice book full of big fancy words and interesting imagery? Trying to better myself at song writing. Not really a book guy so i don’t know what’s good. Help?

My day in picture.
I went to McDonalds and bought a chicken nugget happy meal, when i told the woman my order she just looked right at me for a solid minute.. really awkward moment.
Then we went bowling but first played around with a bunch of arcade machines and had a game of pool. I lost at bowling.
After we went to the cinema and waited around for the movie. Half an hour went by and then i remember they have rare arcade machines in this certain cinema so i decided to play but one cab swallowed £2 from me and the damn thing was broke when it finally let me play so i complained and got my money back.
The movie finally opened but it sucked. Do not go watch Haywire, it’s pretty shit.
Before going home a got to play Tekken 5, i love Tekken!! I grew up playing this game and i have only ever found a cabinet once before so it was really good to play it even tho there was no sound. Today was pretty fun.
Oh man, there is a post on Absolute Punk about Drive Thru records and everyone is talking about the days of wearing band shirts, burning/trading Cd’s, samplers & dial up internet. Music is so cloudy these days, everyone likes the same stuff no matter who they are and everyone dresses the same. It’s so weird. I feel bad for the kids of today missing out on this stuff. I hope things get better and some really good real bands come along and start ‘the scene’ all over again.
Trying to explain the way things used to be ‘back in the day’ to people who weren’t part of it is so difficult, they just don’t get it. The other day i was kinda bummed out because i felt like my memory has went to shit but this just brung it all back to me, i have so many stories growing up around that music. It’s so awesome to remember all the stuff being talked about on AP.net, i miss it.
No one is even going to understand what im talking about.
Ive not played my guitar in so long and i have no idea why. I spent like all last night and today reading about some rare fender guitars that i now totally want. All the fender stuff from NAMM 2012 looks amazing which makes me wanna just buy lots of new guitars and i still need to buy a bass for recording at home.. I wish i owned a music store so i could just sit there all day and test everything out.

omg good burger - YES! I gotta watch that! Thanks!! I watched all the trailers for each movie suggested to help decide. I searched for Good Burger and it turns out some guy uploaded the whole movie so i might just watch it on youtube, haha.
Can’t Hardly Wait - I can’t ever remember watching this. The trailer made it look like a really bad version of American Pie, haha. I should check it out.
